Our Services

Enrolling your child in a high school can be quite a task if there’s a lack of information that addresses your concerns as a parent, especially when you live outside Canada. Once your child is ready to go to high school, they will need to go through a long procedure of applying to schools, filling out the application forms, and preparing for interviews. Arranging for a student visa can be a stressful job. That’s why we have made the entire process completely hassle-free and straightforward.
‘Study and Stay in Canada’ focuses primarily on helping students enroll in a high school program. Being located in Canada, we have extensive knowledge about the rules and regulations surrounding the Canadian education system.
With us, you will be guaranteed a personalized and individual approach in:
Initial online consultation with the student and parents
A FREE consultation to learn more about the services we offer will be provided to the aspiring students and the parents. In this session we will cover the student’s interests and educational goals, the parent’s expectations of the Canadian education system, and if they wish for their kid to get a permanent residency in Canada. This will not only help us choose the right school for the student, but also plan their education path from a long-term perspective.
Helping in selecting the right school based on the kid’s interests
After the meeting, a shortlist will be created that outlines some of the schools that best fit their interests and plans. All the necessary details about the respective school will be provided to the family. Note: All associated schools have experience accepting international students; we have personally visited each school and have a direct agreement with them to ensure the process goes smoothly.
Preliminary Assessment and an Interview with the student
Once the right school is selected, your child will need to write an English Language Assessment test which will help the school to assess their English and place them in courses that are best suited to their language ability. The student must complete this test with no assistance. If their English requires improvement, the school might assign them to the ESL (English as a Second Language) classes where they can enhance their English in addition to their selected subjects. If their English meets the requirements of the school, they will be placed in a general class with other Canadian students.
Making necessary arrangements for virtual meetings with the schools
In addition to the written English assessment, an interview will be arranged with the school representative. This will be a short interview with the student via Skype, WhatsApp, WeChat, or by telephone to get to know the students and to introduce the school. Parents are welcome to join the interview and ask questions about the school if they have any. Our staff can also join the meeting upon request if the student or parents require a translation service.
Providing guidance and support in the Application Process
To help parents avoid the hassles of applying to the school, our team will collect all the necessary documents from them and fill out the application on their behalf. We can also help you with the payment of your application fee and deposit if required. Once the application is submitted, we will follow up with the school. As soon as the application is approved and an Acceptance Letter is issued by the school we will then proceed to the next step.
Assigning a Custodian and preparing the required custodian documents

If your child is under 18 years of age, it is necessary to assign a custodian to them while they study in Canada. You can either appoint a custodian from the school itself, or you can assign our organization, ‘Ala-Bel-Canadian Visa & Immigration Services’, as the custodian. The custodian is required to be either a Canadian Citizen, or a resident having a Permanent Residency, that currently lives in the same location where your child will be studying.

It is very important to assign a custodian, not only for the processing of the official documents, but also to have a person who will support your child during their stay in Canada. It is mostly advisable to choose a custodian who speaks the same language as the parents of the student, for easy, quick, and direct communication when necessary.

The primary responsibilities of our custodian are as follows:

  • Provide support with any issues raised related to the child’s study or accommodation
  • Keeping close contact with the parents and the school
  • Regularlymeet with the student and check in on how they’re doing
  • Provide consultation on subject selection in the school
  • Recommend an individual tutor if extra help is needed in any subject
  • Accompanythe student on any necessary visits to the doctor, bank etc
Study Permit and Visa arrangements for kids and their parents

As soon as the Acceptance Letter from the school is received and parents assign the custodian, we will start preparing documents for your child’s Study Permit. Along with the Study Permit Application, the student will prepare for their medical exam and also prepare their vaccination documents. We can guide you on booking the plane tickets and travel arrangements. If you decide to accompany your child on their first trip to Canada, we will help you to get a temporary visa, and arrange accommodations during your stay.
Note: We do not arrange accommodation for the student as they mostly prefer to live with a Canadian host family; We fully support this idea as it helps them integrate faster into a new community and improve their English skills.

Being the primary point of contact between the school and the parents
Once your child leaves for Canada, they are our responsibility. We will take care of all the communications with the school to ensure that your child is adapting to the environment and the education system. We will also ensure that parents get timely updates about their kid’s school grades. We will keep close contact with the hosting family to solve any minor issues that might arise while your child adapts to the new environment. We can arrange extracurricular classes for your kids, either online or in-person, as we have contacts with professional tutors in math, science, physics, chemistry etc. If your kid is already involved in extracurricular activities, then we can sign them up for local clubs or sports activities as well.
Guidance and Support for College or University Admission
Our organization can also provide consulting services to students who wish to continue their higher studies in Canada and enroll in undergraduate programs. We are associated with more than a hundred Canadian universities and colleges with thousands of courses and programs to choose from. Depending on the student’s needs and budget, we can prepare a list of programs for study, and help with the post-secondary application process.
